2001 and 2002 brought 3 beautiful babies into my world. The idea for Igloo came about due to a combination of (a) a type of madness brought on by having 3 children in the space of 1 year (twins and a lovely surprise!), (b) a need, as a result of (a) to be able to decide my own working hours, and (c) the challenge of setting up something from scratch and seeing it grow and evolve.
Our aim is to offer an eclectic range of products and services which appeal to both children and parents alike - the type of goods that you can't buy in the Big Shops.� We believe that as a child passes through each stage of development, whether it is being fitted for their first shoe or learning to swim, our aim to provide a product or service that reflects each stage of growth.� You'll find something for the just-born to the all grown-up 10 year old.
We sell a range of top quality modern and innovative products at affordable prices. Every one of our goods has been specifically chosen by us for its quality, usefulness, uniqueness or sometimes just because it looks so cool. We figure that if we like it and our children like it, the chances are you and your children will too.
We know our customers want to buy something that is a little bit different, stylish and engaging for their children but don't want to pay the earth for it. So, as well as stocking known brands, we actively seek out interesting and different ranges of goods from around the world and our product range is constantly evolving. Oh yes - and so are my children, who are now 5 and 6 years old.� And I hope that your children can become part of the Igloo journey too.
