2001 and 2002 brought 3 beautiful babies into my world. The idea for Igloo came about due to a combination of (a) a type of madness brought on by having 3 children in the space of 1 year (twins and a lovely surprise!), (b) a need, as a result of (a) to be able to decide my own working hours, and (c) the challenge of setting up something new and exciting and seeing it grow and evolve.

Our aim at Igloo is to offer an eclectic range of products and services that appeal to both children and parents alike - the type of goods that you can't buy in the Big Shops. As a child passes through each stage of development, they reach another milestone, whether it is being fitted for their first shoe or learning to swim, or going to school for the first time. Our aim is to be there for those special moments by providing a product or service that helps them on their way as they venture out into the world. You'll find something for the just-born to the all grown-up 12 year old at Igloo.

We sell a range of top quality modern and innovative products at affordable prices. Every one of our goods has been specifically chosen by us for its quality, usefulness, uniqueness or sometimes just because it looks so cool. We figure that if we like it and our children like it, the chances are you and your children will too.

We know our customers want to buy something that is a little bit different, stylish and engaging for their children but don't want to pay the earth for it. So, as well as stocking known brands, we actively seek out interesting and different ranges of goods from around the world and our product range is constantly evolving. Oh yes - and so are my children, who are now 10 and 9 years old. And I hope that your children enjoy their own Igloo journey too.
